Bug : UK in Axis AND Allies.

As the tittle suggests, i've encountered a bug where UK - leader of the allies no less - has also a military alliance with Germany.

Anyone can hint which part of the save file must i edit / cut out in order to remove this silly bug?

It probably happened due to Germany couping Iraq (UK puppet) and bringing Iraq to Axis :eek: (don't ask, that's one weird AI i tell you!)

I cannot realy revert to a previous save because the couping took place early in 1938, and i've noticed the bug at September 1st, when UK declares war on half the world while at the same time beign allied with them, as a result both alliances are broken.

It is impossible to remove UK from alliance as Germany.

I have the 1.3b patch for Arma.

P.S. I play as Japan, and i didn't edit the save for this game. All i DID edit were naval brigades, and also cutting down the build time for all ships by 20%.

Might wanna just play it out, a UK-USA-German alliance might create the kinda challenge for you that makes a legendary game.
Im fighting the entire world (except Switzerland) in my game and its much more fun than usual :)
UK cant leave because they are the alliance leader, you could try having Germany leave the alliance.
Later events might fix it or might make it weirder or may fail to fire!

Ok, you can alter the alliances by finding (ctrl + F) "alliance" in your savefile, but only if there are any other alliances than the three major ones. If not, look for "axis" , "commitern" or "allies".. The problem was that game listed Iraq as UK, and there was "ENG" in both axis and allies, but no Iraq to be found anywhere.

oh well.

As for your suggestion : If i wanted a challenge i'd go with Stony Road 1939 Poland... But i don't think that one is even possible to win w/o gaming the AI

Tell me about it.. Germany conquered all Europe but UK in a 2 months, allied with N. Spain. Severely crippled royal navy, sunk most of their capitals and carriers. Placed over 100 div's on French shores ready to invade UK aaaand.. Nothing for two years.

"Why?" you ask? Out of 120 small ships They had four transport ships, and for some reason they were using them to invade South Africa..

Sigh.

Edit : Germany has roflstomped Soviets in half a year, and managed Bitter Peace.. Half Africa is controled by Italy. But GER still didn't build a single transport more... And UK took whole spain from Gibraltar, which noone attacked.

I must confess that i'm tempted to switch to US after i conquer India and islands as Japan, and declare war on both Axis and the remains of USSR :) Because truth be told, as Japs it would be too easy to win with Axis, since their navy AI is terrible even with DAIM
