I have no clue what is going on, but I just installed a new HDD (M.2/SSD) and the game does not even load for me now!! Need some help with this one, please?..

Have you tried reinstalling the game, or if using Steam verifying local files?
I'm personally running an M.2 SSD drive from where the game is starting and haven't had any problems, so it's more likely to be something that changed on your own system than the game itself having problems with M.2 SSD drives.

SSD isn't a HDD
Maybe the old drive somehow got a different drive letter assigned?
