I noticed odd behavior from my dwarves.
1. They sometimes refuse to dig a block. Solution seems to be quit the client and reload a save. My dwarves then dug the block right away.
2. (Possible misunderstanding of the mechanics of fertilization stones) I had a nice field of fertile soil, enough for 3 fertilization stones. I build 3 stones and assigned 9 workers total. Expecting a nice income of wood I was dismayed to see my worker dwarvers standing around doing nothing. Not eating, not sleeping, nor working. The stones overlapped each other slightly and all had 3/3 dwarves assigned and I had a total of 9 workers. They simply didn't work. Exiting the client and reloading didn't help.
Impression:
- Fun game. Worth the 10 dollars. However I'm afraid I might not make it through the campaign. It's already becoming too routine and repetitive. Admittingly, I have spent over 30 hours on it already but I'm seeing repetitive patterns develop in each map without much challenge from enemies or management decisions.
Looking forward to more in the future!
