A thread not for discussing whether events/monarchs are good, balanced or 'correct'.

This thread is only for real bona fide bugs and should be thoroughly explained, maybe like this:

Event bug: major_eir.txt , event 200624 option B sleeps event 200624 somewhat belatedly, since it has already happened :)
I guess it is supposed to sleep 200625 instead ;)

I haven't tracked down the cause of it, but I've had two CtD's in late 1419 with the 4/18 version - I suspect a problem with one of the new events.

The division of Gaul events, all three of them, have as command:

command = { trigger which = 200395 }

In the b options. In the a option however, which does work btw, the command is:

command = { type = trigger which = 200392 }

Which is how it should be. So, four types should be added ;)

Edit:Another one:
Event 200967, Savoy, reads:

command = { type = domestic which = innovative = -1 }
should be:
type = domestic which = innovative value=-1

Yeah, I mistyped domestic changes with Savoy, fixed that already thx.

Also ignore Hansa events for now, got to seriously rework them.

Looking at your previous post, Archduke, I'll wager this is probably un-necessary, but I definately do see a problem with event # 200207 in major_hsa.txt. It appears to trigger two events directly: itself (200207) and the resolution to the second sund crisis (200208), neither of which I imagine should be triggered in this fashion.

Thanks anyway, makes it easier for me.:)

The Scottish Army (20k) in Lothian will not move. I discover this at the end of 1419 when an unprovoked revolt occured in the Grampians, tried to move army but it wouldnt move (English occupation force does however).

When attempting to split the army - it wont, and trying to reorganize the army produces 34 infantry and 7000? cavalry from nowhere.

Therefore I suspect an id conflict between the Scottish Army and something else.

Oh and one minor point, that has been mentioned before.

There are still colour clashes between nationstates that start the game next to each other, which has caused a little confusion (specifically the red ones in the middle east as the border line is not readily seen).

a niggly point admittedly

I just found what I think are a few errors in the major_byz.txt event file. The errors are in the events for the Boulgaros Dynastry, # 200145, 200146, 200147. As I understand it, these events are supposed to be reaction events for Bulgaria should their king become the emperor of Byzantium and subsequently get deposed from his imperial seat by Michael Doukas. Strangely, all three events have country = BYZ rather than country = BUL -- a small error methinks.

Cheers.

Edit: The event # 200148, a reaction event for Krete, is also incorrectly set for country = BYZ rather than country = KRE.

Finland event 200011 should change finnish ai to colonizer one, but doesn't.

B-option should keep current finnish ai, which should get colonizing preferences for siberia.

One comment/suggestion about the file finland2.ai. I noticed that ferocity = yes in this file. Unless something significant has changed about ferocity in the last 3 or so months, I would highly recommend never using this parameter.

Just my opinion.

Edit: The Byzantium ai files also use ferocity = yes. Bad idea in my opinion. Oh well.

One last thing, Savoy is set to use default.ai rather than savoy.ai. I'm assuming that this is a small faux pas, so I'll list it here.
