Version: 1.0.0 9b5a
I have all existing DLCs + the Nova Preorder
1) When you view the conquest victory and only have one other empire generated in the galaxy, its name will show up. It will say "Benn'Thell Republic is the only independent empire left" or something like that. Not too much of a spoiler, it's just annoying to know what they call themselves before I ever encountered them
2) Yesterday, I fought against... certain spacefaring objects... and the combat log after I retreated showed their name even though I didn't yet research their Special Project. It told me what they were (and what weapons they used), and that moment I still wondered if that was a Fallen Empire or something else!
3) Once, I found a system and one of the planets had a unique name, just as if it was colonised by someone. The rest of the system had the normal generic names. But I didn't get any contact with whatever lived on the planet, and the planet seemed pretty much dead. I didn't yet send a scientist though, so there might be primitives. I'm actually pretty sure there are some, because of this.
4) Before you surveyed a habitable planet you can already see if there are any primitives by hovering over the little "habitable world" icon. It will say "Can't colonise, because the pre-FTL contact policies don't allow this". As I said, without ever surveying the system.
Maybe-5) I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but there is at least one system in my galaxy that is completely filled with space crystal creatures! Literally every object in the system has a group of them orbiting it. By the way, are they supposed to never move?
