Does anyone know how to automatically mass build rail roads or if its possible besides laissez faire? I have a huge empire and its getting tedious to click on every province when you want your entire nation to have infrastructure.

ya, i remember it built once in the province selected in vicky1 but didn't know about vicky2

Pressing r while having a province selected builds a rail road level in that province (or it does for me anyway.)

If you can't build a railroad in that province (for example if you are building a fort) or if you don't have a province selected it puts you in diplomatic map mode (which is annoying).

There's no button you can push to just build them every where unfortunately.

Well while we're on the subject whats the "hotkey" to build forts and dockyards?

Paradox! Im begging you please put an upgrade all infrastructure button! Something like shift + build railroad or Alt + build railroad for a state wide upgrade. What do people think? I absolutly hate spending 10 minutes upgrading all of china and india when i could do it in one easy click.

Or at least a button that would allow to upgrade by region where you can select to upgrade by a region and the upgrade will commence in all the provinces belonging to that region (which you control obviously)

An EU3 building ledger would be sweet.. When I've got an overflow of money, I'd like to easily max out forts\naval bases without clicking on every province and then check, and click on the fort\naval base button, then go to the next, since there's no hotkey..

Don't bother building the railroads and let the capitalists do it.

Well one problem is they're not very good at it. They seldom seem to want to build railroads in my colonies, although they're pretty good at plastering my states in RR's the day a new tech level is discovered.

The other problem is they're also not very good at anything else. I prefer to play as much of the game as planned economy as I can. Keeps fertilizer factories out of my build queues.

Can we also limit the railroad sound to one at a time? Have you ever tried building railroads in every province as the British Empire? The first 20 years is basically CLING CLING CLING CLING CLING CLING CLING over and over and over and over again
