Running the example skeleton mod[1] throws up an error:

Error running /Users/gormster/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Cities_Skylines/Cities.app/Contents/Frameworks/Mono/bin/mono […] (Cannot find the specified file)
[…]
at ColossalFramework.Plugins.PluginManager.CompileSourceInFolder

Sure enough, there's no file at that path - in fact there's no executable called mono anywhere on my system, as far as I can tell. Certainly not in Cities.app or anywhere in the Application Support folder for C:S.

What's the deal? Should Mac users be sourcing their own copy of mono? If so, shouldn't the modding guide[2] be updated to reflect that?

(Turns out new users aren't allowed to post links. Can a mod add the appropriate links at [1] and [2]? [1] should be SkylinesModEngineer/CitiesSkylinesSkeletonSrc on GitHub and [2] should be the Modding API page on Skylines Wiki.)
