  • in the ship designer, the "save" button needs to stand out more, and possibly be in the corner. it's the most important button in there, no other place in the game needs "saving"
  • in the ledger, the "planet has unemployed pops" icon is meaningless noise. every planet always has a small number of unemployment pops as they grow, and no user interaction is required as they will demote or move automatically. at least ignore any number of unemployed pops below 100
  • in the "district details" you can build specialisations, and replace districts, but not build new ones. the "build district" button is in a completely different area of the GUI, which confused me for a hot minute
  • in the "management" tab, you should be able to sort pops by amount, so you can better ignore all the miniscule fractions and look at the majority pops
  • in the "economy" tab, hovering over a job doesn't show its output
  • things like "decisions" and "resettlement" are buried a few levels too deep. should be more easily accessible.
  • in the "resettlement" window it's still horrible to skip through planets
  • making policy decisions across multiple planets is still a clickfest

Reactions:
You can build or replace a district specialization. But there is not a way to destroy a district specialization (and all of buildings inside it). Unless i’m missing it.

The whole UI is so unpolished... Ecumenopoli don't even tell you what specialization your districts are unless you hover over to look at the jobs provided.
Specialized Arcology 001-003? Really? Was it so hard to just replace that with a string that would display whatever the actual name of the specialization was?

Of course, the question is rhetorical. It isn't. The team clearly didn't have enough time and I can only imagine they didn't push the release because corporate wouldn't let them, because no one could have considered it "shippable" in the state it actually shipped.
