Buying new CPU i5-13500

Does anyone have an opinion about if buying a i5-13500 (6 p-cores an 8 e-cores) would be a good buy for V3?

Im somehow worried about this bug:

Any of the 13th gen Intel CPUs are liable to that problem I'm afraid. As mentioned in that thread you can use Affinity to restrict Victoria3.exe and ck3.exe to only use the p-cores.

If I only use p-cores, would not that imply that upgrading to 13500 would be redundant?

The game would not really benefit from even 6 cores let alone 14, about 4 is all that is really useful. More important than the number of cores is clock speed of the CPU - if it is faster than the one you have, that alone should speed things up.
