Byzantine mod for HOI2

Thanks Osteles, the events were supposed to fire because Metaxas was in charge (I was emulating Greek history a bit) but I just copy events to not go through the tedious setup of them. The events in question are only supposed to fire if Metaxas is in charge, id 150049. The correction will be in the next version of the mod.

I can tell you its good, you get a cool new flag, good IC base, all in all, you hold the cards for the war: the side you choose will get a nice advantage. :D
 
Is Byzantium purple like in EU2 or CK? Because if it isnt i could send you a modified colorscales file where it is

Nope, its imperial blue (much better IMHO, I always changed the purple, couldnt stand to see the world in that ugly color. (currently my EU2 byz color is the Ottoman one))
 
I like Byzantium purple because when i think of them i think of them as purple so it makes me angry when they're not
 
Ok, some suggestions.

Constantinopolis has no airport nor harbor. I think it would be the pride of the emperor to have one there, so I'd suggest moving the ones of the neighbouring province (Nikaia-Izmit) to the captital?

Also, no airport near Russia. If the Romani survived the Ottomans, its highly likely that they would have had wars with the Ruski's. Therefore an airport near the Russian border would be logical, no?

Mezzo: The Byzantines are a dark blue. I never liked purple either, although to be honest the Dark Blue is only because that was what color the tag U13 was.

Osteles: I have made the changes, Constantinople has a large harbor and airport, and I added a smaller airport in Erzurum.

And its really nice, I just commisioned a grand fleet of the empire. No less than 12 battleships who will soon be ready and fight whoever dares to oppose the empire :D

How the hell could a mod that brings back my ancestors to life in a should have been ;) timeline (hell yea, I am being objective) escape my attention.

Here I am, historian and lover of all things byzantine, offering my services for the good of the Aytokratoria.

If it were not for the crusades, the empire would not have fallen backthen. Perhaps later, who can tell, but not to the Ottomans. I can imagine the poor Janitsaries (sp?) being killed by the mighty Varangians.
 
Well to be honest I have never felt comfortable with the Byzantine leader list. I have always thought they were a bit weak. So, if you want to enhance them a bit I would appreciate that.
 
Yes, I can edit the leaders, and add some and all. But it wont be before next 13/1 that i can work on it, a bit of a tough week of exams now, after 13/1, i have a week for the next course.

Oh, but i would need some names of Greek military commanders of that age. Pictures i will find myself I hope. And Belisarius shall appear too ;):D
