I'm working on almost done on a Byzantine scenario. I want to have the empire at the state it was in the 1450's before it was taking over by the ottomans. But im not sure what territory it had then. Right now all I have is them having Thrace and Morea. Also would anyone dl this scenario if it were uploaded.
Hey, Hey. I got screwed over, my Byzantine scenario is not in the depot. In fact notice that Paradox haven't uploaded anything to the depot for quiet a while.
Thrace and the Morea would be about right. Around 1440, Constatine XI temporarily conquered parts of the Hellas province while he was Despot of the Morea before he was Emperor, but the Turks soon took it back. Trebizond was its own state, separated from Byzantium after the Fourth Crusade, but the royal houses were closely related so you might want to give the Empire that province as well.
As for the Byzantine fanatics, I can tell you that I will play Byzantium first if and when the Crusaders game comes out.
Hey, I did all those thing. I changed Thrace's religion as well as many other provice's religions. I even created large leader and monarch files, I edited army costs and they still didn't post my scenario. I gotta take the matters into my own hands.
Nah, you'll get to start as a strong Kievan Rus'. Just keep all your royal family in line, keep them from splitting off with their own principalities, and refrain from giving said principalities to them. Then just build, build, build in preparation for 1237...
Building won't help. Mongol Hordes carried Bubonic Plague with them, third of Kievan Rus' population was wiped out. You know, I can send an army of Suicidal Flemish Mercenaries.
