Currently, CAG is an electronics component of carrier application technology...but a CAG regroups 2, sometimes 3 models of aircrafts.

So do not create a new line of technology in aircraft technology tree which would be more realst than a simple electronic component ?

To take this one step further, CAG's must be made up of aircraft squadrons and not just be long range guns as presently modeled in HOI2. They must have their own leaders and be redepolyable to other carriers.etc

Why?He only suggested that they should be represented in separate reasearch line.You will research carriers and cags as separate techs-but cag will stay only brigade.Make sense to me.Though i dont mind lesser research through only one tech. :p
 
Well it would make sence if you could upgrade your CAGs separately once you know how to make enough advanced ground versions of the same aircrafts...
 
yea, for example at hte beginning of the war; the British carriers were superior to American ones due to their armoured flight decks; but the US had highly developed carrier planes; only rivalled by the Japanese.
