Can someone please tell me how long England owned Calais? Consider England owning it as anytime it was controlled by a government on the British Isles (even if they were say Normans).

Calais was actually taken during the Crecy campaign, although it wasn't recognized as English possession until later.
1346. So Calais was an English possession for 211 1/2 years from 1346-1558. Not counting however long it was English controlled before the earlier loss of Normandy.
Calais was never part of the Norman/Angevin inheritance-too far along the coast with the lands of the counts of Boulogne in between.

It was the Duke of Guise who took back Calais in 1558 during a anglo-french war. Spaniards occupied too the city between 1596-1598
