In short I was unable to play this game up until recently due to some scaling issues in a bug they had to resolve. Is it not possible to remove the camera restrictions on zoom level and view angles at certain zoom levels, not sure what file they keep the camera options in but turning this off would seem like an easy fix for someone who knew their modding tools?
