In my opinion - no. Processor is ok (so long as its not a celeron) but need at least 128 MB. That would make it playable. 256 MB would make it lots of fun.

64 is the absolute minimum. It will run, but it will be awfully slow. Forget about MP with 64mb RAM. Single player with 1.03 will be playable, but very slow.
AndrewT suggestions concerning ram are good; RAM is the key with this game (and with most apps).
Is the situation any better with the 1.04 patch, or should I wait untill 1.05 is available?

64mb ram is really the minimum. Single player will work, but for MP, I fear it may lag.
Strictly talking about performance, 1.04 and 1.05 will be the same.
I don't play MP so that isn't too bad.

right now i am playing with 512 MB of RAM on one computer, and the game keeps freezing/crashing. on my other computer with 64 MB of RAM and a 350 Mhz processor the game runs slowly, but it NEVER crashes. it might just be my BIOS or something though
