Can I use saves made from a sandbox in the Editor?

I've made a save of Berlin in 1970 from the sandbox and I thought that regular saves were editor saves. Does everything in the editor have to be made from scratch? Is there a directory I can place the Berlin save in so I can use it in the editor?

Use the GS file viewer to extract files from your saved game.
Put the files in the maps folder.
You need the files with the following extensions:
dds
grid
scenario
timeline
