I am very curious to know, I am working on a secret project that I think can actually work, mostly since I have built up more courage than with my other projects, and somewhat simplified the pre industrial tech tree, to a laaaaarge extent, but I have several coal mining and oil mining events for instance that In my mind should increase energyand metal production by so many percentages with each discovery.. But I cannot get a command to work in Darkest Hour to support this tech theory, is there a way to get it working?... I know some events modify amounts of money and other resources made, but can it work for techs?...

Yes, in theory every event command could be used in techs.
Unfortunately there're no commands that change production rate for a specific resource in the current version of the game (you can only change total production of all resources and IC), but that changes in the upcoming patch.
Isn't the new patch supposed to come with like.. Hundreds of new tags too?

The fact that there wasn't an individual resource production mulitple shared by all command systems before was a glaring oversight for HoI. Having such a feature will really open up economic strategy for the game engine.
