Hi,
I'm planning to upgrade my 8+ years PC to this spec:

Processor: Intel i3-8100 @3.6GHz
VGA: Radeon RX 570 4G DDR5
RAM: 16GB (2x8) DDR4 2666
SSD for Windows and 1TB HDD for games installation

I plan to buy Imperator Rome and Stellaris, along with their DLCs, and maybe EU4 in the future. Can I run these games well in 1080p?

As said above, CPU is the most important component. I would suggest getting an Intel i5-8400 if it fits in your budget, because it has a single core boost speed of 4 GHz.

And RX 570 is a great pick for 1080p.

yeah, you will be able to play PDX games very easily with that rig, your GPU is really good and your CPU is also good, your RAM is way more than is really needed so no worries there.

Your CPU might not be the absolute best, but its still a rather strong CPU,

I would aim at least to a i5 processor, even at the expense of a lesser performing gpu. This to play Paradox titles.

You can run the games perfectly well, the only “Paradox” game you might have a problem with is Cities Skylines.

Also depends on whether you playing with mods or no mods.
