We have multiple bugs on the console version that have appeared since the last update and patch 1.1 and now three weeks later, we have still not heard of an upcoming patch.

Could we get an update on the situation please? When can we expect a patch to fix these bugs?

Amongst the issues, we have:

  • Despawning zoned buildings
  • Icons for new districts not showing
  • Concerts being shown as unlocked despite no buildings unlocking
  • District style option starting as unlocked and locking itself if accessed
  • The trees bug/tree tool bug
  • Chirpx Rocket bug
And probably some other bugs I haven’t seen yet.

So again, on update on the state of the upcoming patch would be appreciated.

Thank you

I am also wanting to know when there will be a fox for all these bugs. It seems that they'll release a DLC, have a look at reported bugs for an hour or so after the DLC releases, fix some of them in a patch, then continuing work to port the next DLC over and the cycle repeats.

They'll check the forums for bug reports between the bug patch and the next DLC release but no matter how many major bugs there are or how far away the next DLC is, they won't fix them until the next DLC is released (even if they do fix them).

It's a shame that they pretty much release DLC which breaks things in the game and don't comminucate with us as to when they'll be fixed. Instead they leave us in the dark.

I'd also like to add that there is another bug where the game crashes every 5 to 10 minutes on the base Xbox One console. This makes the game pretty much UNPLAYABLE on them.

this is the life of a port to console. as soon as content is ported and released, they begin working on the next release.

game breaking problems are dealt with ( not being able to bend a bike path or place a tree are NOT game breaking ) and the port continues. time is not spent working on smaller issues in a version of the game that is already in the works to be replaced by the next release. instead, the port continues and those issues are worked on for the new release. for them to invest resources on a patch for the old release that may be fixed / altered / worsened or even completely eliminated in the version they are currently working on is a waste of resources.

fixing issues is not something they can put a schedule to, things dont always go to plan and fixing one issue can create others. my guess would be that having the few complain about not being in the loop is better than hearing the masses complain that the patch didnt release when the company said it would. basically, they dont want to commit to anything that they cant guarantee.

let's also not forget our role in this whole process. the team can only work on bugs that are reported and in the proper place and format. I cant count the number of times I've seen people complaining about issues in the wrong forum or in one or two lines of a completely off topic thread. these complaints will never be seen or addressed by the team.

This last issue you commented ChiefLEGOMAN1 is the most critical and important of all. Although the others issues suck they still let you play the game. People like me, you and many others with this issue on a Base Xbox One as you say are totally unable to keep playing with your cities created. I don't play CS since february 3 when my game started crashing each 5 to 10 minutes too. I'll not lie saying my game didn't crash before the last updates and expansions. It crashed but it took 4 or 5 hours of gameplay at least to happen and there were days I could play it for several hours straight without crashing. This way even the crashes were totally acceptable but now after the last updates and expansion it insanely crashes each 5 to 10 minutes making the game impraticable what is utterly unacceptable. I don't have money to play an Xbox One X just for CS to keep playing it however I'm a city builder maniac. If I have to take a decision in the future. I'll prefer sacrificing this game and keep playing and having fun with other Xbox One games that I never had this kind of issue than be forced to buy an aprimored console just to play a single game, sorry.
