Its very annoying to scroll over items in list where there are some marked "dlc". Reason is it doesnt look good as in the future imagine with twice the items half of list will have "dlc" over it.

I would prefer Sims-like set icons that indicate to what DLC set they belong. Also an option to show whole packs together (all halloween stuff from the different build categories in one window for example). Would make it easier to decorate themed rooms. :)

I like the idea about having some way to know which DLC the item comes from.
Also being able to subset item by theams would be good. this would good across the divisions that sepereat the items.

But they need to stay marked in some way. I want to know that when I purchased a DLC that the item is truly there and which item it is.

Currently "Dlc" icon is very distracting.

I would like it gone. Completely.
I play the game, not any particular DLC. There is no need to constantly remind me of the "special status" of these items.
It's out of character and hurts immersion.

I, for one, would like to offer a counter-point that I love having the DLC icon, if only because it reminds me what items were stock, and which ones weren't.

I'd also like to see the item's description be updated with a name of the pack it came in, too.

I don't feel strongly about this either way, but I think I'm with ShadowDragon here: It's nice to have an indicator which items are part of the base game and which were added through DlCs. It also makes talking about the game easier. Perhaps the DLC label could be a little smaller so that it's not standing out so boldly and covering up a good portion of the icon? (Green stripe on the side, or something similar.)
