We Stand On Guard...
The years following the Waltkrig, or The Great War, has resulted in the destruction of the old world order and has caused the world to fall into chaos. Epic struggles between the proletarian and the aristocracy is common place, greedy Imperial powers seek to expand their empires, and rogue nations threaten to cause instability. Even the land of the free, the birth place of modern democracy seems to be falling into darkness. But there is hope for a better world from somewhere unexpected. Welcome to 1936.

A Litle Introduction

Well hello readers. My name is Andrew, and hopefully I will be guiding you through a remarkable journey through the eyes of a huge nation of just 11 million. This is the first time I am doing something like this ever. So I’m pretty excited. I've been playing Hearts of Iron for a relatively short time (with LOTS of cheats), but upon reading several AARs, I decided to do one myself. Before we get underway, I would like some input from you and I would appreciate it if you took the time to answer the following questions. This will be an interactive AAR as I will be taking your input into consideration as I struggle to free the world from the oppressive hand of Totalitarianism. Now, one thing that is something that will not be changed is the fact that Canada will remain a democracy and its ultimate goal is total liberation of the world. But the means will be up to you.

Now for those questions.

1) Should Canada be influenced by the British Monarch to try to reclaim Britain (A long term goal anyways) or choose to set its own path.

2) When the Americans go into a state of Civil War, how should Canada react? (Annex Alaska/New England and direct interference).

3) Should the ideological enemy (if Canada chooses its own path) be the Syndicalysts or the Imperialistic Kaiser of Germany.

I think you should let the British rule Canada once more. Set your goal as the reclamation of Britain for the Crown and also, as a side effect, your main enemy should be the syndicalists. Should you see the syndicalists winning the American civil war, you must intervene.

Yet another breeding ground for conflict. Three titans prepare to control the broken Chinese factions, but will the result of a war cause the rise of a strong Chinese nation? Or will its fate fall in the hands of Imperial Powers?

Canada is planing future expansion of all armed forces, with a focus on a strong Carrier focused navy, and a cheep, imobile infantry army. Saves a lot of IC to match my army with stronger nations. But a massive expansion of Canada's industry will occure before Military expansions are underway.

And I just noticed your post germanpeon. After doing my test game, Canada does not do well without the British, and I may need to cheet to become Democratic the way I like, hope you dont mind (Dont like the Authoritarian Democrat BS)

I like the Authoritarian Democrat governments under Edward VIII. They make sense, given Edward's real life fascistic sympathies and the extreme situation of the Exile. But I can see that they're a little morally uncomfortable

I'd love to see a British-led Canada, too. Have them take the front seat, then liberate the UK. Once they've all left, Canada must find her place in the world - having been responsible for Britain's return, she could perhaps claim an almost equal status to the UK within the Commonwealth. Maybe change her flag to her modern one (remove the crown) once Britain is liberated?

Wow, I like that. Its a bit more realistic, especially that there are no exiles to push us around afterwards. Cant wait to get this started, but it looks like I have manny things to do in the next 48 hours, which gives you time for more input. Disband those militia plox, a big waste of manpower, also the RCMP, INF and ARM (With the possibility of a HQ) are the best thing to build early game.

shit, I have some bad news...

I did not want to disapoint people, but now that quite a few people are interested, I feal like shit...

I dont know if I can do this, at least until may.

4 tests in the next 2 weeks

A midterm calculus exam next friday

A concert im preforming in where im doing at least 3 solo preformances

at the end of the month with my ensemble, im going to florida to preform in an arts festival, which means I need to catch up in advance what im missing in Physics, Calculus, and Chem...

man, I realy should have thought this through befor I promised anything. The next month is going to be hell...

Im so sorry for getting hopes up, mabe next month when im not buisy trying to get into universaty and doing stuff for my ensemble...
