I cannot build churches in any of my provinces, despite said provinces having various levels of Architecture advances. With Basilican Structures or Brickwork Structures I should be able to build churches. With Romanesque Vaulting, the highest architecture level achieved by one of my provinces, I should be able to build large churches. When I click on the province graphic, however, I am not shown the church icon (neither red nor green).
The only churches I have at present are ones in provinces I've conquered, so I know other people can build them (or perhaps started the game with them).
Does anyone have any info on this problem? Thanks for your help.
