Cannot delete custom empires

Hello,
How do i delete custom empires that I made over the time ?
Even on a new windows and fresh install i have the empires there .
The "bin" button is greyed out and it says something that "cannot delete"
Also I do not have saved games and in the C:\Users\[my user]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris there is nothing.

Can you help me with this ?

They are held in a file user empire designs.txt from /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/ . You are saying taht folder is completely empty? Hard to see how that's possible, as the game would not start if it could not write there.

Make sure stellaris.exe is in all the exceptions lists in your antivirus app.

The file is called user empire designs.txt . You'd have to scroll down from that screenshot to see it.

I just created one and it made that file, so it should be there for you!

To be more detailed . I bought a new PC a few days ago , fresh new install of Windows and fresh install Steam and then Stellaris. After I open stellaris I have empires that I made over the years . In this new installation I have all the custom empires that I made before . What I am saying everytime I install a new fresh Stellaris from my account in game I have my custom empires there .
Also in the screenshot are all the files in that folder and I think that the files that you said does not appear because I did not made any custom empires after this new fresh install .

LE: I made a new empire and indeed i have the text file but in the file is only the EMPIRE i created now . Not the old ones .

I don't know then. Maybe they are embedded in cloud saves that the game still sees?
