Cannot find host?

Hello, myself and a friend would like to play a multiplayer game of Hoi2, both as the axis side, vs the Ai allied and Soviet forces... however when he (with a fast net connection) hosts the game, and i attempt to join, i get an error message along the lines of, "Failure to connect, no host was found as ip ***.***.*.* ect..., he recives this message when i host, and he attempts to join.


Any thoughts?

read the router sticky above. Try www.hamachi.cc if you cant get around the issue.

make sure you both have the dame version of the game as well. Look in the upper right corner of the screen on the first menu screen. Do you numbers and letters match his exactly?

The problem is not the version, is the firewall.

Try shutdown the firewall of boths. and if you guys use Norton, dont forget to permit.
