C:\Users\<userName>\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Tyranny\saves\
The above was posted in an old thread. I went to this location, but there are no saves, even though I have a saved game playing Tyranny in the Paradox platform. There are the folders "Achievements" and "CurrentGame". Inside the "CurrentGame" folder are files that look like they are from a save. Not helpful, since I want to migrate by-hand my saves from playing on Steam.

I know where Steam keeps the saves. However, there needs to be a clear structure under C:\Users\...\AppData\LocalLow\Obsidian Entertainment\Tyranny\CurrentGame or up one level, so that they are well-organized names like Steam and can be put into a single folder, or each save should be in its own folder. Instead, these look more like BGI and BGII saves.

Is this the correct path? If so, how can I organize the one that are orphaned in the Obsidian > Tyranny > CurrentGame file, so that I can copy the Steam saves, and have the game still recognize the save that I just barely started, as well as my saves from Steam?

Thanks!

I'm not aware there is anything you can do to change where the game puts its saves, I'm sorry.

I'm not asking to move the saves as such. I'm asking, in essence, how to add the saves from Steam and make the game still find them, which would mean adding organization to the chaos that is reigning in that currentgame folder.

So, should there be a save folder? If so, where? I guess that I will have to add another save in-game to force the game to show me what multiple saves look like. I've always loved Obsidian games, but the state of saves in the Paradox platform is shameful. Sorry, but it is. Paradox says Obsidian has sole rights to the saves in Paradox' platform. Even in BGI and BGII, we had well organized saves with a clear system.

My save games are in the path you showed: C:\Users\...\Saved Games\Tyranny
Is your steam cloud enabled? That might be the issue if you can't see them.
