cannot get the game to work

all drivers are up to date. tried reinstalling a few times.

when I try to start up the game I get to see the intro screens ( paradox, developer ) but after that it freezes for a few seconds, then crashes. I tried several settings, to no avail. I can get the game running in windowed mode, but after a few minutes of gameplay the game crashes again.

If you need any files to help me, please tell me how to aquire them as well.

btw, I bought the collection on steam ( Includes 7 items: Cities in Motion, Cities in Motion: Design Classics, Cities in Motion: Design Marvels, Cities in Motion: Design Now, Cities in Motion: Tokyo, Cities in Motion: Metro Stations, Cities in Motion: German Cities ) steam says the game is up to date. I tried to install the 1.22 patch manually into the folder, but that didn't fix the problem either.
