Cannot link Steam

I receive this message whenever I try to link my Paradox account to Steam.

Could not link to Steam. User: 76561197990268315 in universe steam already has a connection.

All of the authentications work with no issues.

However, none of my Paradox games are showing as owned.

Most modern games have no icons here, there have been none added for 2-3 years now.
