Cannot reload a saved game

I either cannot load or cannot figure out how to load a saved game.I see no load button.When I click on a saved game file name the start button greys out.Am I supposed to do this in game after choosing the same scenario?If so is there a hot key for loading a saved game?thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

To load a game:
1. Click on the save game file
2. Select the kingdom/duchy/county you were playing (just like you do at the start of a scenario)
3. Click on start

Each saved game is treated the same way as a scenario, you can actually load up a saved game as any other king/duke or count.
