Cannot Start Game - Crash During Loading

Hello.
I recently purchased "HoI:2 Complete" and "Iron Cross" off Gamersgate.
I install HOI2 complete and the most recent patch.
Then I install Iron Cross (directing towards Armageddon).
I do all this in a separate partition (not my C: or x86).

I go to start Iron Cross and I get an error first from "Bink Video" being unable to play a video.
The game presses on past this.
I can go into all the menus and select a new game.

When the game is loading up it ends around 5/6ths of the way through the loading bar with an uninformative (no warning) CTD.

Can anyone please help me or possibly tell me what I am doing wrong?:wacko:

Do you have your hoi2 complete (armageddon) updated to the patch 1.2?

In the configuration progam of the Iron Cross, What are your options?

For some reason it just started doing the same to me, well I get the CTD when I try to load a savegame or start a new campaign. I have been playing it successfully for almost a solid month now.

I am fairly sure my copy of AoD is without problems, but I am going to re-download it overnight to make sure of that.

It seems to work fine until I patch it with 1.01. I play Iron Cross over AoD (1.05). If I were to run the patch to change the number of techteams back to the max of 10 for AoD when would I want to do that? Thanks.
