First time using this mod, and i apparently am doing something wrong, just can't figure out what.

I followed the instructions, they aren't complicated, delete old files of the mod, which i didn't have, remove all other mods, which i did.

Things I've done.
I unsubscribed from all workshop mods, deleted the files.
I have deleted and re-installed CK2+ multiple times.
I have re-installed the whole game.
I have deleted everything from the documents folder (the one where the mod folder is) and let them game make new files there.
I have tried to install the mod manually and with the installer.

I don't get it, why is my checksum wrong? I have the latest version of the game, downloaded the latest version of the mod.

The checksum i get is LFIH. But it's supposed to be XFMO, right?

I assume the crashing when i either try to start a new game, or try to generate a shattered world is because of the checksum not matching. The game doesn't crash without the mod.

I can go back to 2.8.3.4 or older, but that's before Holy Fury, missing out on that content then, right?

Can't i go back to 3.0 at least, or would that not work even if i could?

CK2+ is not compatible with 3.0 Holy Fury for now.

Alright. At least i have figured out where the confusion came from.

Requires CK2 Patch: 2.8.3.whatever, who cares

That "who cares" made me believe the exact version wasn't important, as long as it was at least 2.8.3. He should really change that.

Thanks for help guys. I won't be using the mod for now then as i like the features added in 3.0.

O had that problem when The Reapers Due came out and everyone and their mom had some sort of injury

It says 2.8.3.x now. Hope that's more clear.
Try the mod on 2.8.3 since a lot of features added in 3.0 are already in the mod in some form.

As the others have stated, most mods of this size simply don't work with the new patch and content yet. Eventually they will. But likely not for months if not years depending on the dedication of the team, op. If it's a major problem I'd suggest just waiting patiently as you've already said you'll be doing.

Not trying to steer people away from this mod, but the EK dev release works mostly w/ the current stuff if the base game is too dull for you. But obviously if you want a historical mod this is probably the best bet across the ck2 market.

What's EK dev release?
