So I'm trying to import heightmaps to Cities Skylines II by using the -> C://Users/[username]/AppData/LocalLow/Colossal Order/Cities Skylines II/Heightmaps/ But I am unable to located this. My Colossal Order folder only has CS1, and no matter how many time I verified the files or reinstalled Cities Skylines 2 it doesn't show up. I was wondering if I needed Mods for Heightmap importation but I don't know what to look for. If there is someone who can help me solve this issue that would be nice.

I just started to dabble in height maps, I had to create the new folder in C://Users/[username]/AppData/LocalLow/Colossal Order/Cities Skylines II/ diectory, I just named it "Heightmaps" then went to terraing.ateliernonta downloaded the heightmap & worldmap not forgetting to click the cog and change from cs1 to cs2 and add the access token url from mapbox. also downloaded the street and sat pngs and got image overlay from paradox mods so can overlay the streets and create them as well as accurately as possible, then its just a case reopening the game and importing the heightmap and world map in the editor.

I would recommend doing so, especially if you haven't before
Ok so I saved a map through the map editor and saved from a regular game and still can't find the Height Map folder. I noticed that my game is under ->C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities Skylines II I created a folder and titled it HeightMap and nothing. I can't even find the map I saved in a regular game. I'm not really sure how this happened.

I know in Cities Skylines 1 it was easy because you can click on the folder icon in the Map Editor and it takes you to the folder. But CS2 its not there, you can click on a folder icon to find assets but that's about it. Do I have to enable something in-game or do I have to type something in Launcher Options?

I don't feel comfortable using Mapbox because I have to sign up for it, I'd rather not input my personal info to 3rd party sites just for a heightmap.
My game is installed in ->C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities Skylines II and I don't know why because my CS1 game is saved under ->C://Users/[username]/AppData/LocalLow/Colossal Order/Cities Skylines/

The game should have created those folders upon install/first launch. It's not an issue I've seen reported before. Have you tried launching the game in admin mode?

I gave it a shot, I think it worked. I found the height map folder for CS2, and to make it easier on me I saved the folder location to quick access. Thank you for helping me out, I appreciate the assistance.
