I downloaded 1.07 update here, and i tried to install it, but the game gives me an error:"The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify it's identity and try again"I did it two times more and still same damn error. And yes, i have the game installed. What is the reason of this?

:( :( :(

I got that error too but it went away after downloading the patch again. Make sure you clean your internet temporary files so that you are actually downloading the file again and not just calling the same one from memory. Also make sure you save the file instead of opening it from location (I do this plenty cause I have a cable connection, I don't know if you do).

The point is that there's nothing wrong with the files but they're getting corrupt along the way of getting to your pc.

Stupid question:How to clean the temp files.

If you are useing IE , then Tools - Internet options - General Tab -
Then half way down that window is your temp Internet control. The middle button will delete the temp files.

I found temp internet folder, but it has nothing but damn cookies.

I'll ask around.

Look for a button in the tools or option settings that has a clear cache or something.

You could also look for files around the size of the zip and in a temp or cache subfolder.

This from Viper "Edit, Preferences, Advanced, Cache, Clear Cache."

Problem solved!I downloaded from another website, and it worked!Seems like the problem was with paradox server.

Glad you are back up and running.
