Hello, I just got Hoi2: Doomsday. I was very happy indeed. I ran the Autorun, pressed Install, and nothing. First i waited some secs, but nothing showed up. Then i opened windows explorer, and executed the Setup.exe by myself. What i received, was a message, saying that "E:\Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 aplication". I really dont know what the problem is, i never had such problems with Paradox games.

My OS is curently Windows ME, my processor is a Pentium 4 1,8 ghz with 512mbs ram, i got like 20gbs free in my hard disk and my graphic card is an ATI all-in-wonder with 64mbs. I think system requirements aren't the problem here, but since i dont got the minimum idea why i am receiving this wierd message i can't say anything...

Please help me… pretty please…with sugar on top :rofl:

But speaking seriously, please help me. Any kind of advice would be very, very apreciated. Thanks for your attention. :cool:

Hello again. Seems like i finally resolved the problem. I tried to install the game many times on this computer, to no avail (i couldnt even execute the setup), as you could have noticed in my first post. Lately, i was forced to format this PC. Suddently i remembered i still had DD out there, and i never played it. Tried to install it, and the setup ran, to my amusement. It took ages to install, but now i am finally able to play DD.

Although the help you gave me wasnt that "really" helpful (but the whole problem must have been related to system files getting removed), i do thank you for your attention and for your reply. *gives a hug to castellon* :p

Now, time to nuke some comunists!

You have to post back if something did not work, that way I can tell you something else to try. :)
Think of all the time you wasted not playing DD. :D
