Then it didn't get saved correctly. It must have .reg at the end of the filename to work. You should be able to just rename the file to fix it.shadowcast said:notepad
If it's opening with notepad when you double-click then it almost certainly has a .txt at the end (which you might not see since Windows hides those extensions unless you tell it not to). If it ended with .reg then double-clicking would ask you if you wanted to add the contents to the registry since that's what .reg means to Windows.shadowcast said:i did put a reg behind,maybe because my version is 1.3 already?
The version may be in the registry but the question is whether it's in the right place. What is your publisher and what exactly does your registry entry look like? The registry probably doesn't matter; try just the actual file first. The patch has only victoria.exe, not the separate language versions that the Polish localisation has so that's what probably looks for.ASAD said:Should I rename it in the folder or in the register too??
