Cant join games because using internet via LAN

I cant join any games in Valkyrienet because I use my internet through LAN.(Thats what they told me in Valkyrienet).Every single time I attempt joining game it says that game is not found on that specific IP.I have no problems with any other game playing online.Can someone help me?I really want to play this marvellous game against others.

In sticky thread Colonel Warden posted here is link to Router/Firewall problems thread. There are discussed almost all aspects of this problem and you can find also solutions that work for others. Try there first. If you have problem after that, post either there (preferably) or here.

I still cant join any games except LAN.I had marvellous game with my friend using LAN.(You can play HoI2 without CD,I noticed) I dont have router (I think,Im not expert on PC things) and I allow use of HoI2 in firewall.What may be problem?It says that "couldnt find the game on IP 54.4343.23.4423 and advices to check the IP or like that.Please help the noob.
