Cant join MP game from V-net or IP host

what I have tried to fix this :

1]reinstalling the game
2] disabled my firewall

......cannnot join any games...nor can anyone join mine

I can play multiplayer on other games, no problems

I just dont understand

I have this problem as well. I can log onto valkyrie and see other games being hosted, but when I try to join them I get a message saying that the host at such and such IP could not be found, check the connection. The games are right there and their IP is displayed but I can't connect to them.

OK, now im disillusioned. I posted this yesterday to the support forum, hoping I would get some help with the problem. The only thing the moderator did was move it out of the support forum in the mp forum. I have received no feedback or advise from the mod/advise team. I dont know what to do to solve this problem.
MP was going to be the saving grace for this game, seeing that the AI is so aweful. Now I dont even have that. Sheer, utter disapointment.....

I am on a shared t1 ...does this affect the situation?

sounds like a firewall problem. I know you tried disabling it, but if its a hardware firewall it can never truly be disabled. Look at my thread

what about if u have a router? everyone says it's a firewall but id on't have one but i have a router or a home LAN. anyone know how to fix this?? PLZ!! answear me with somethin

ya well i dont have one and i have the same problem, there is nothing wrong with my computer, it is the game...

Well, my attempts to fix the problem temporarily disabled my internet connection completly ... this is over my head . . . a friend of mine will see what he can do in a few days ... he has more skill with these kinds of things than I do.
