First of all, thank you for reading and perhaps for replying.


Every time I play with a friend, I can usually play until 1860-70 because we don't have much time. Continue playing the next day but suddenly the game status can no longer be loaded. The progress bar freezes and at some point an error message appears. In addition, it often happens that the time simply stops without pressing pause or that the pause is not interrupted when we click on. Victoria 3 is a wonderful game and the bugs that ruin the game and the fact that the cities don't grow anymore is really stupid. It used to be so nice to see. Thank you very much for the help.
 
While I don't play this game, MP or solo, I'm not aware of this being a general MP issue.

You can both play solo games okay?

If you both play with some third person, does it happen to both of you then also? or just one of you?

Any mods involved?

hey thanks for the feedback. This happens with every save that is a little further and mods are not activated, only the DLCs. I don't know if this also applies to another person, we only play it with two people. The thing is, everyone can continue playing alone, but it's not possible with two people.
 
Can I ask you please to test, each of you playing with any third person? This is vital to determine which of you two have this problem. Thanks.

We have a similiar issue too, not just with victoria 3 but also in ck3, that a save game cannot be loaded for some players (loading to 1...2....3% and then it stops completely while other players loading (slower). In one case it was the same player who couldnt load the vic3 save beyond some percents and in ck3 the same. A worrying coincidence. Played Vic3 on Thursday and Ck3 on Tuesday and didnt had this issue before. It seems to me that nakama could have some problems since last week wednesday
 
That is a shame, makes it hard to diagnose the problem then.

If you have a VPN, please run that up before starting the game. Does that help?

Actually I'm not sure what you mean by "it" there ... I'm asking if either or both of you have any VPN product. If you do please run it and log into it, before you start this game. Then see if you still get this MP connection problem.

That tests whether there is a firewall getting in the way somewhere along the line.

we dont have a vpn
 
We are running out of diagnostic options here ... can one or both of you try from a different computer on a different network (hopefully a different ISP) then?
 
Perhaps from an older game patch?
