Can't launch any games

So i recently uninstalled steam and installed it back to my other Harddrive. Reinstalled EU4 and HOI4 to the same harddrive as the one steam is on. Now when i launch them i just get an error from the Paradox Launcher v2 that says ''Initialization of the game failed. We're not sure why this happend, please check the logs or try reinstalling the game. The same error comes up in the launcher whether i start EU4 or HOI4?

Both games use the same installation of the same launcher, so yes - if one gets a launcher problem the other will too.

Changing where Steam is installed should not of itself caused any such problem, as the launcher is elsewhere anyway, by default:
C:/users/{username}/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2025.2paradox launcher.exe

Right click on Documents in the left column of File Explorer, just under This PC there. Go to properties, location. What does it say there?

What happens if you run eu4.exe and hoi4.exe directly from File Explorer? That bypasses Steam and the launcher.
