Can't Load a multiplayer game

So a friend of mine and I do like this game and we play it every now and then, but we can't exactly create any large games because every time we try to load a saved game. Our created mage doesn't so up in the game lobby and when I click the call button on anyone, I get a error message out of the game saying "array overflow 11 of 1" or something along those lines, how can I fix this?

My warlock/steam games are stored on an external hard drive.

I need a little more info to reproduce this internally - are there any special game settings where it always crashes, or is it regardless of what you try? What game mode? World Size? Number of Great Mages?
Also, since you mention your created mage - what mods if any do you have active (for both players)? And are they draft or published?

Just an update to verify that we've found what causes this and have forwarded it to the devs.

I had the same problem and I found it answer too... (you and your bud must have same mods (even inactive ones))
