Can't load Imperator, Red triangle on launcher

Hello

Description of problem:
I have just tried to launch Imperator on my new laptop (previously played on my desktop).
It fails from the launcher. The red tringle appears and screen goes black, then fault log window pops up.


What game version are you running?
2.0.3

Launcher 2021.1

What platform are you playing on?
Steam

Please select any/all DLC you have enabled.
Epirus, The Punic Wars, Heirs of Alexander an Magna Graecia

Do you have mods enabled?
No


I have reinstalled the game completely, but it doesn't seem to help. I have also tried to validate through steam. The game worked with no problems on my desktop.

And run the x86 and x64 installers there.

Add imperator.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.

Also if you have the MSI Gaming App installed, disable it as it clashes with this game.

If that doesn't help:
Please attach your Documents/Paradox/Imperator/pdx_settings.txt.
From your Documents/Paradox/Imperator/logs/ folder, attach system.log , error.log
