Can't log in for multiplayer on Linux

I originally reported this in the Bug Reports section, but I was directed to here. original thread

It shows me as logged in in the Paradox Launcher. But in the game it shows me as logged out. When I put in my email and password, it says logging in for about a minute and then it says "unknown error". I attached the logs.

You mention being able to play MP in other Paradox games. Does that include CK3? Because the other games I see under your name here, like Vic2 and EU4, use a completely different MP system than these two do.

Either way though, what if you connect this machine to the internet via a VPN or failing that a mobile phone hotspot? Just for the purposes of testing of course; does this issue still happen then?

I didn't test a VPN, but this worked, I guess it is actually about my modem/router's firewall settings, what could be preventing it? I looked through its firewall settings but I couldn't find anything.

It can be a firewall in Linux, your internet router/modem, or your ISP. Telling which one is pretty tricky, unfortunately.

Basically the Victori3 and launcher executables need to be allowed through all those firewalls.
