I've downloaded Rome from Steam and when I try to quit the game, it freezes up and I have to use task manager to quit. It's happened twice now.

We're aware of a problem where it crashes during exit, but not that it hangs then. I see you have both Rome and VV registered, you have both installed? Plus the latest patch?
I believe so; I downloaded it from Steam, and my understanding is that they already have the latest patch installed. How do I check this?
You should see the version number as it comes up. Another way is to look at the system.log file which has the .exe date in it.

My game freezes on exit - but I found that if I hit the return key it then clears. So less angst now.
