Can't re-install?

I'm trying to re-install Viccy so that I can patch it back to 1.01.

The game uninstalled ok, went to re-install it. Everything seemed ok but when I tried to patch it the autorun said that the version I had was the latest. Odd I thought, but intrepidly I uninstalled and then manually deleted any data left on the hard disk that I could find.

Now when I try to re-install it says that Victoria is already installed and the program quits out. What gives? Is there any way to force an install?

PC Specs-
OS: WinXP Home Version
P4 2.54gHZ
786mb of Ram

Did you deleted it from your registry??? I usually find it is best with windows to have windows unistall things or otherwise it forgets

I'm not sure. How would I find out?

As a side note I'm on vacation right now so all this is being done on my friend's pc. I still run Win2k at home, so XP is a little weird to me.
