Hmph, must have worked then.

And you're welcome...ungrateful little...*mumble mumble*

Now, Now, play nice with others ...
:)

NO NO Wait! Don't go! It didn't work! My appologies, I've been busy and haven't been able to write back.
I'm still back to my origional problem. When I select the province, the left area displays all units. However, when I try to shift click to select one, the are changes to display the stats on the divsion/air unit I click. It's almost like the program doesn't acknowledge my shift key, eventhough it works fine will all other programs. This problem has frustrated me to the point that I've stopped playing because I can't properly escort my bomber groups. Please, for the sake of those poor airmen, Help!

Single click through the units in the province on the map until you hit an air unit. Now press and hold shift and drag a box around the province, and all air units are selected. Now you can deselect them in the left panel, while holding shift.

Okie, follow me step by step here. As you see, there are three air wings in this province.

Pic 1

First...you go to the province and you can click your airbase and your airunits will pop up and say "Oh, hello, jolly good day isn't it?" Once you click on that, the top airunit will show up like Pic 2...don't mind this though.

Now...you take your cursor over to the little green/yellow/red whatever pars under the units picture. Holding your cursor over it will give you the list of armies in the province, and will have beside them what they are, in this case 'Tac' for Tactical Bomber.

Now, while holding down on the shift key (this should be the FIRST time you touch the shift key select each of the other individual bars that are airwings (or whatever you're wanting at the time). If you select something else by accident, then select it again and your good.

Now, once you've selected them all...go over and click on merge. And viola, they should be merged together.

Any of this help?

This is the correct answer on how to select air units.

I think he has finally sorted it out.

YES!!! It finally worked! Here all this time I was dragging in the wrong area! It was Jeno's pictures that helped the most! Interestingly, I prefer to use 'counters', (a throwback to my bookcase gamming days) and I could not see the 'bars'. This is awsome! I'm off to dominate the skys! Thanks to all whom helped me with this problem. This really is a remarkable forum!
Thanks again!

Glad we could help out.
