Can't set up an antipope

I'm playing on the most recent beta as a Chalcedonian Emperor (upgraded .. I'm not the HRE or Byzantines) with Free investiture and I can't seem to set up an antipope ? In any case , I'm just looking for some way to vassalize the Papacy or at least eliminate the secular states of the Church (so that she can better focus on spiritual matters , of course)

I am not sure whether it matters but are you Catholic or Chalcedonian? I don't think Chalcedonians can set up antipopes

Yeah , I'm Chalcedonian .. hm . Is there any way , then , to vassalize the Pope or otherwise get better CBs on the Papacy other than just border disputes ?

So looks like I had a happy ending ! Strangely .. and rather a-historically , I simply fabricated a claim on Rome , conquered it secularly , and then somehow it also allowed me to install a new bishop and as soon as I did that , the vast Papal lands from the alps to sicily all became my vassal .. well then haha

Yeah, it seems like if you claim Rom or Latium, you'll automatically vassalize the Pope... until he dies and his successor becomes independant again -___-

This is why I keep asking you people not to open new threads for questions and bugs.
This is obviously a bug. If I wasn't bored, I would never click on this thread and see this.

Fixed for next version, Chalcedonian pope will stay vassal after succession.
