Can't start Game on Steam

When I try to launch Warlock 2: The exiled, I get the error:

Failed to launch game (unknown error).

I have tried re-installing and restarting my computer, also for some reason it won't let me delete the steam's appcache

anyway to fix this?

If this is not possible i would like a refund on steam as I have yet to even play the game

DxDiag please:

* Open your Start menu
* Type "dxdiag" in the search field (without quotes)
* Open the dxdiag program
* A window called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should pop up now
* At the bottom right-hand side, click on "Save all information"
* Save it to a place where you can find it easily, for example your desktop
* Open the file and copy and paste the text between [NOPARSE]

I have XP on this computer and I cannot find dxdiag on here. That may be why it's not working. How do I fix this?

Well, if you have XP the problem is that you have XP. It is not a supported OS by the game. You need a 64-bit Vista or Win7.
