Cant start mods please help

I got planet fall through the windows store dont know if that has anything to do with it, but when i try to start a mod it wont let me, it says something went wrong while saving the list of enabled content please try again. im downloading the mods through the pardox launcher, and i aslo tried installing them manualy, still does not work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes the game does start the mods don't activate tho

Are any of the mods you are trying to use out of date? Do all mods cause this?

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. If you could provide us with some additional information we can start looking into what may be causing this.

• Where is your Documents folder located? Is it in the normal location, or have you moved it (to something like OneDrive for example)?

• Does the “Documents/Paradox Interactive/Age of Wonders Planetfall” folder exist? If it does, what files are in it, if any?
  
  
• Are you playing this via Gamepass (for players on Microsoft store)?

Hi! I got the same problem, and my documents folder is in default location (I think, never moved it to my knowledge): C: \Users\[me]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Age of Wonders Planetfall\

Got all the files in there I think (.launcher-cache, cache, Config, GeneratedMaps, Lords, Mods, Profiles, Saves, game_data.json and mods_registry.json)

I am playing via Gamepass, via Xbox beta app on PC. One thing of note maybe is that I didnt just subscribe to the mods. Because they werent working I thought maybe I needed to download them so I downloaded the .zips for the mods and extracted them to the \Mods file
The mods look like they work fine but when you try to enable them you get the error

I've got the same issue, also with the microsoft store version. It seems like the launcher doesn't recognize the correct game version - when adding mods, it says that v1.004 has to be installed. Ingame my game version is seemingly much newer though. Also, the news tab in the launcher keeps saying I'm not connected despite having a stable internet connection and an expection for it in the Firewall.
