Can't Uninstall to reinstall

I am having a problem. I use Stony Road and it downloaded the Window Mode fix. Ever since this was installed the game will not boot after the video scene. I have tried reparing the files and this did not work. I have tried to uninstall the game and this does not work. Can I just uninstall the window mode and how do I do this? Thanks.

We do not support user made mods.
So I cannot tell you about uninstalling that mod.
However if you wish to restore your game, perform a manual uninstall.
To do that follow the directions in the sticky thread of the same name.

O.K. I printed off and followed, to the T mind you, the instructions for manually removing HOI2. No dice. After I do everything like the instructions say I put the disc back in and it only gives me the option to to remove or repair. When I have it repair it I still get the error on load up. When I try and remove the program I get a core file corrupt message. Luckily I have my lap top and do not have that problem on it. I like the new counters from Stony Road but I will wait for now on any new mods. I do have a question if this could be related to 1.2? I never had this problem before I patched. Hope somepne can help. By the way I installed the game on my D drive and had to remove registry components from both the C and D drives. Could this be my problem?

You are missing a registry entry sounds like.
Obviously you missed something because when you put the CD in the drive it thinks it is already installed. Something is telling it that. Either the registry or the install shield.

Yea that is what I thought but when I went through and touble checked to make sure I found nothing. When I put the disk back in it only gave me the option of intalling or exiting where before when I missed a a key it gave me the option to play as well. I just can not figure out where I am missing the key.

Sorry, should have clarified. When it gives me the option to install, when I click on the install button it only gives me the choice to remove or repair. As in my prior posts this does not work.

Check the install shield stuff as well as the registry.
Sometimes the patch can duplicate either registery or installshield depending on what version of the game the patch is being applied to.
So check derivations Paradox Entertainment, Paradox Interactive, Paradox, and any name of a publisher if thier logo is on the CD.
