Summary
Captured Courtier with ward gets back to Family Court once Previous Liege dies Leaving old Guardian BehindDescription
As a viking, I managed to capture and recruit (thru release from prison interaction) the Princes AElfthryth from King Alfred of England. The goal was to marry her with one of my sons to then fight a claim war to England once the time was right.
I gave AElfthryth a good guardian in my court since I wanted for her to eventually became a good Queen.
Nevertheless, at some point, the king of England was killed. The kingdom title was elected to a different noble and the county titles were inherited to the King Alfred only son Prince Alfred II.
At that point AElfthryth was removed from my court and added into Alfred II court without any notification and ignoring that AElfthryth had a guardian in court.
So the end result was AElfthryth is in England getting remote training from her guardian in Norway.
Now I understand that if a family member inherits some titles, the close family in the current court or even guest and wanderers go to live to the with their relative. But I find that is a bug that someone which is already member of a foreign court leaves just like without requesting permission or at least a message to the current liege.
I'm attaching to save files, the Battle 1 is the end result after the described events occurred.
I tried to look into the on_action and death events, but couldn't find a section where this occurs, so this is something that is coded inside the game and not possible to mod the behavior.
