Catalina and other historical presets

As I was making an historical USA run, I noticed something strange. Can you confirm that the Catalina preset is wrong as it should be done with the medium airframe?

And since we're here, are there any other presets know to be wrong? Thank you.

Most of them are wrong.

In Italy, the SM.79 Sparviero is present as a medium bomber at the start of the game in 1936, but its 3D model is only available to small frames. Similar to the Consolidated PBY Catalina, happens with the Japanese planes. The Mitsubishi G3M and G4M are preseted as light airframes. I'm quite sure that, there are a lot more of these "errors".

The 2D models for both the P-38 and P-47 are locked under medium airframes and the 3D models are for small airframes. I think for the British the AW Whitley now has a 3D model under large airframe but the 2D one is medium. And that's just off the top of my head so I'm sure there are many more inconsistences.

The only planes that I found to be 'mostly correct' (historical modules, correct 2D, 3D icon and airframe type) is Germany. UK is ok. Everything else is wrong.
Soviet Union is using a generic plane preset.
2D icons are broken for most countries.

And it's pretty appalling honestly, as fixing that involves 1 hour of work in single text file.

That's... annoying, but not unexpected. Fortunately there will be guides like ground and sea forces.
